About Us
Hartbeespoort Emergency Medical Service HEMS is a privately owned ambulance service.
HEMS was established as Hartbeespoort Emergency Rescue Unit in 2000 and was registered as Hartbeespoort Emergency Medical Service (HEMS) in 2015.
We are located in Brits and Hartbeespoort. Our dedication to excellence has distinguished us as the leading ambulance service provider.
We firmly believe that the key to success of our company lies not solely in our material assets, but rather in our committed passionate team who together drive the company forward to
reach greater heights.

We are patient and team focused and constantly innovating in order to strive for clinical excellence skills development and investing in staff is key in offering quality service.
A number of staff members were also qualified as ambulance assistance through assistance from the company.
Meet The Team
All our crew members are fully qualified and rigorously trained.
We pride ourselves on being the only private ambulance service in the Madibeng area that has dedicated ALS paramedics on call 24/7 .Completing the team we have Intermediate Life Support (ILS) and Basic Life support (BLS) practitioners as well as the call centre and admin staff, you can rest assured that we are up for any challenge.

That is why we are proud to be supporting a local Non-profit organization that aims to assist with tending to those effected water-related medical emergencies, as well as offer nationwide support to less fortunate children disabled by non-fatal drownings or other cerebral hypoxic/traumatic injuries.
